Level 1 Orienteering Officials Clinic

Ontario's newest orienteering club, the Caledon Navigators, has invited Dick and Pat de St. Croix to put on a Level 1 Orienteering Officials Clinic in the Caledon area on Sunday, Feb. 26. This will be a classroom session, then participants will need to manage an orienteering event - perhaps a GHO Adventure Nite - before receiving their Level 1 certification. Any orienteer is welcome to participate in this Officials Clinic - and it is highly encouraged. As we get more certified officials within our club, it opens up opportunities for all of us to race more. As an added bonus, designing race courses is a great way to improve your orienteering! For more information, please contact Nick de St. Croix at ndsc@sotique.com.

If there is a cost associated with this clinic GHO will pay it.

Thank you! It sounds like the clinic will probably be offered at no charge, but in case there is a change, this is good to know.

I'll do this clinic if the timing works out.

Hmmm...I guess I eventually must take one too. Not sure if it is going to work time wise.

I might. But it depends if it's Nick or Dick doing it ;-)
