Congratulations on the excellent event! You are good at creating a very stimulating course, the kind that makes us feel like eternal kids. When I was in grade 4 & 5, with a small group of friends we spent the weekends roaming the hills, playing war games and scrambling. There was no orienteering where I lived at that time, but I am glad I've discovered it here. The Hammer and other team adventure runs spice it up with team work, devious twists and endurance - at least for the Super Masters.
I usually stay out of trouble but this time I ended up in a pool of water up to my shoulders at control #1. After the initial shock my first thought was how will I continue the race. Relu had a spare shirt, Peter squeegeed my tights, I emptied my SealSkin socks, put my rain gear on and off we went. It was music to my ears when we arrived and Hans said they waited for us with the awards. All of you who waited - thanks for your patience.
