GHO Fall Training

Mark your calendar for GHO's fall training nights. Details to follow:

Sept 12 (Mineral Springs NE) - directions: parking by the HCA headquarters on Mineral Springs Rd just west of Sulphur Springs Rd. Follow sign (it is a huge sign) to "works office" where the road turns close to 90 degrees.

Meeting time: 6 p.m., but chances are good somone will be there around 5.30.

A 4 km course of intermediate level has been set with a 5 km and 3 km option. Small orienteering flags will be used. The woods in the Dundas Valley are in great shape and very open. The only undergrowth you may encounter is the odd marsh you may choose to run across. This is an excellent opportunity to get some practice for either/both the Ontario Champs and Raid the Hammer.
